The ColorMax 8 has an advanced Memjet® print head. This head features 70,400 ink nozzles. Its stationary design delivers higher speeds and lower ink costs. It also has lower maintenance costs and runs with less noise.

- Blazing-Fast Production: Print at 1600 x 1600 dpi at 6 inches per second, or switch to 1600 x 800 dpi and print at an incredible 12 inches per second.
- Safe for Windowed Envelopes: The ColorMax 8 uses thermal inkjet technology, which requires no heat or contact to create an image. This means you can safely print on pre-printed shells and windowed envelopes without any risk of damaging the window or marring the original image.
- Built for Long Runs: High-capacity ink tanks and a fully-automated print head cleaning system work together to ensure optimum print quality from the first print to the last.
